Nine Killed in Lebanon as Violence Returns After Brief Truce
Wednesday wasn't easy for southern Lebanon; air strikes slammed into the area, killing at least nine folks, including two paramedics and a soldier. This happened after a ceasefire started. One strike also messed up a vehicle close to Beirut, making it super close to the capital as things got tense post-truce.
This chaos left people shocked and ticked off. In response, Hezbollah went ahead and hurled rockets and drones at Israeli forces across Lebanon, claiming Israel had started the mess.
Even US leaders stepped in to try and make peace. They got backed up by Donald Trump who said Israel should halt its Beirut bombing runs. Despite all this, the fighting was back on within no time.
